Canyon Crest Guitar Class
We are so lucky to be able to offer a guitar/Rock Band class at CCA. These kids range from novices on their instruments to pros that tour on the weekend. All students in the class whether guitarists, bassist's or drummers will learn all the instruments in the class. We are working to make the all very strong, creative and professional musicians.

Presidio Guitar Quartet will be here this week on Tuesday and Friday for a workshop and performance. Pictures will be available soon!! The drummers will also be in a workshop with professional drummer, Mike Rawluk, on Friday.
Presidio Guitar Quartet
The Presidio Guitar Quartet was handpicked in 2005 by master guitar pedagogue Fred Benedetti, head of the San Diego State University Guitar Department. Quartet members Bill Jones, Derek Cutsinger, Derek Nye, and Magdalena Loza Flores, who come from distinct musical backgrounds, train with Benedetti to create their unique and ecletic sound. More than just a group of musicians, these four friends enjoy creating music together and have fun doing it. They perform intimate and charming arrangements of great composers like J.S. Bach and Mozart. They also perform Renaissance, Latin, jazz and popular music. The respect that these young talented musicians have for their music and each other creates an exciting atmosphere that audiences will not want to miss!
Assignments:
Rock the Canyon!!! Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. in the CCA Amphetheatre. Set up begins at 11 am. Sound check at NOON!
